NM Cable

NM wiring is a product that’s typically use in general residential spaces because it has a practical design. The big benefit is the wire’s sheathed housing; this design element made NM wiring popular when it debuted in the construction and building industry ago over a decade ago. NM wiring is very convenient because it’s easy to use. This cable option is also practical as it helps electricians effectively distribute power to various destinations in a home at a low cost.

UF Cable

During jobs that require interior branch wiring, UF cables are commonly used by electricians. These cables can be configured in residential spaces and throughout large commercial buildings. However, since UF cables have vulnerabilities, they can’t be used in spaces with temperatures that exceed 90 degrees C. This safety precaution was created by the National Electrical Code. When UF cables are run in proper environments, they produce efficient results by distributing power that’s up to 600 volts.

THHN Cable

Thermoplastic high-heat resistant nylon coated wiring is one of the most popular cables for electricians. The size of these cables vary; however, electricians can obtain cables with solid or stranded conductors of different sizes. Many companies manufacture THHN cables with aluminium or copper material, and both of these options are usually coated with a PVC housing.

Each of these cables and other wiring options is often used with bidirectional couplers and general electrical accessories. Because every cable has a practical design, the process of a running line to a bidirectional coupler is simple.
